2008 - 2012 - Foundation Era
Globex Global Logistics was founded in 2008 with a clear mission to redefine logistics services in Brunei. Over the next few years, Globex established itself as a key player in the industry by becoming a WCA member network in Brunei and securing partnerships with prominent companies such as Setia Motors Sdn Bhd and Indera Motors Sdn Bhd. These early achievements marked a solid foundation for growth and success.
During this period, Globex expanded its operations significantly, partnering with major industry players. By 2016, it had been appointed as the local agent for CMA CGM Shipping Group and CMA CGM LOG (Console Service), showcasing its growing reputation. Additionally, Globex strengthened its local presence by becoming a trusted logistics partner for Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam. In 2017, the CMA CGM Shipping Group joined the Ocean Alliance network, while Globex became the local agent for Charterlink Logistics Limited, further enhancing its global footprint.
2013 - 2017 - The Growth Spurt
2018 - 2022 - Entering the Diversification Age
Globex continued to diversify and grow its service portfolio from 2018 to 2022. It became the local agent for Global Container Freight Pte Ltd, Singapore, and collaborated with Red Box Logistics Sdn Bhd, cementing its position in the logistics sector. In 2019, the company ventured into pharmaceutical logistics through a collaboration with the Ministry of Health’s Pharmaceutical Department for last-mile delivery. In 2020, Globex earned it’s ISO 9001:2015 certification to show our compliance towards operational excellence. Moreover, Globex was appointed as the local representative for Marco Polo Marine Offshore, Singapore, highlighting its adaptability and commitment to serving various industries.
2022 - Today - Forging Ahead
As Globex moves into its next chapter, it remains steadfast in its mission to provide innovative and sustainable logistics solutions. With a focus on integrated marine logistics, advanced warehousing, and supply chain services, the company continues to strengthen its local and international partnerships. Globex is now poised to embrace emerging technologies and sustainable practices, ensuring its role as a leader in the logistics sector while contributing positively to the community and the environment.
